Floods in Pakistan - Disaster:
The current floods in Pakistan
has affected the entire nation. It is a disaster
of a scale that is beyond any of the other
natural calamities that have befallen any other
part of the world in recent years. It is worse
than the tsunami and the earthquakes as reported
the UN Chief.
Every province of Pakistan is
affected and millions of people have become
homeless. Thousands have lost their lives.
The Petarian Foundation has
joined hands with the Abdalian Association,
Petarian Association, CHAEF, Kawish Welfare
Trust and SARID to provide immediate relief to
the affected population and to participate in
the reconstruction of homes and infrastructure
and rehabilitation of the affected people.
